RCLCO Real Estate, one of the nation’s top real estate advisory and consulting firms, declared The Villages as the nation’s leader Friday in a list of the 50 top-selling master-planned communities. The Washington, D.C.-based real estate firm ranked The Villages No. 1 with sales of 2,231 homes, a 13.5 percent year-over-year increase and 417 homes more than the second top-selling community — Irvine Ranch in Orange County, California — and 1,025 more than the Tampa Bay area’s Lakewood Ranch.
