DESCRIPTION:RCLCO-Sponsored Event\nSpeaker: Adam Ducker\, Chief Executive Officer \nAdam Ducker will participate as a moderator in the online panel Low-Density Rental Development – Does it Help Address Housing Equity? on March 16th from 3:15 PM – 4:00 PM EDT as part of the 2021 ULI Virtual Housing Opportunity Conference. \n“Purpose-built” low-density rental development models are evolving to meet emerging housing demand driven by demographic trends and shifting household preferences. This session will explore where these models are emerging\, who is implementing and financing them\, and what consumer segments they serve?  The panel will also address whether the model increases opportunities to meet a variety of housing needs and challenges\, specifically to better house the U.S. \nThe Housing Opportunity conference is one of the nation’s premier meetings of the residential development\, lending\, investing\, and policy community\, and brings together a diverse mix of private and nonprofit real estate developers\, public officials\, urban and regional planners\, housing advocates\, architects\, investors\, and lenders with one common goal – to expand housing opportunities in their communities. \nEach year\, the conference explores key factors and challenges contributing to our nation’s residential housing crisis and offers emerging cross-sector solutions that support the Terwilliger Center’s central mission – to advance best practices in residential development and public policy\, and to support ULI members and local communities in creating and sustaining a full spectrum of housing opportunities\, particularly for low- and moderate-income households.
