DESCRIPTION:This session begins with a panel of market research experts providing an overview of four separate regional markets. The regions include the Southeast (Carolinas\, Florida\, Gulf Coast)\, Latin America and Caribbean\, Mountain West and Desert Southwest. Related topics such as demographic trends\, and outlooks for both the golf and ski industries will be incorporated into the discussion. Following an assessment of the how the respective regions are recovering\, the panelists will share views on near term market outlooks and opinions on areas of potential opportunity. \nDuring the second portion of the session\, four separate projects will be spotlighted. Developers will share how they have or are addressing challenges and/or taking advantage of opportunities in light of shifting market conditions. As these developers discuss strategies and tactics being deployed they will share what is working\, what is not\, reasons why and lessons learned. \n
